HUB INFORMATION - HUBS ARE RUN BY LOCAL GP'S BETWEEN 4PM & 8PM MONDAY TO FRIDAY AND 8AM - 8PM SATURDAY AND SUNDAY. APPOINTMENTS MUST BE BOOKED VIA THE SURGERY (THERE IS NO WALK IN APPOINTMENTS) YOU CAN BOOK ON A THURSDAY FOR THE WEEKENDS. GP'S AT THE HUBS CAN ACCESS YOUR MEDICAL RECORDS AND ADD TO THEM. WHEN THE SURGERY IS CLOSED APPOINTMENTS FOR THE HUB CAN BE BOOKED VIA 111. THERE ARE NOW EXTRA HUB LOCATIONS WHICH ARE FAIRFIELD HEALTH CENTRE, 43 FAIRFIELD GROVE, CHARLTON SE7 8TE - BURNEY STREET PRACTICE, 48 BURNEY STREET, GREENWICH SE10 8EX ALONG WITH THE ORIGINAL THAMESMEAD AND ELTHAM SITES. THE HUB ALSO HAS DRESSING CLINICS, SMOKING CESSATION, DIABETES AND LONG ACTING CONTRACEPTION ADVICE.

THE PLUMSTEAD SURGERY WILL BE OFFERING EXTENDED HRS TO ALL OUR PATIENTS FROM 6.30PM - 7.30PM TUESDAY EVENINGS, AND 6.30pm - 7.30pm ON WEDNESDAY EVENINGS. THERE WILL ALSO BE NURSE APPOINTMENTS AVAILABLE FROM 6.30pm - 7.30PM ON BOTH TUESDAY & WEDNESDAY EVENINGS.
THE WELLING SURGERY WILL BE OPEN FROM 9AM - 1PM MON TO FRI ONLY. PATIENTS CAN OBTAIN MEDICAL ASSISTANCE AT OUR PLUMSTEAD SURGERY UP TO 6.30PM

The technology also means you can now do a lot of things from the comfort of your home such as order a repeat prescription or cancel an appointment.

You can access online appointments and your online repeat prescriptions.
In order for patients to access these services, they will need a current PERSONAL email address, shared email addresses are not acceptable due to patient confidentiality. A up to date mobile number for SMS messaging. They will need to come into the surgery and provide us with a form of identification. This could be a passport or photo driving licence. It has to be a form of photo ID to qualify, in some cases a GP who knows you well (longer than 2 years) can vouch for you.
The Reception staff will then access the online services for the patient and produce a letter or send the letter via e mail with their Online Patient Details. This can be done during a routine visit to the surgery. There will be an expiry date on the letter to denote when the account will deactivate if not used.

If you have either a hearing problem or Diabetes and would like to talk to someone in depth to discuss any issues or problems you may have encountered please speak to Reception staff who can put you in touch with a member of our PPG who has vast experience in these areas and is happy to discuss any issues you may be facing. This could very beneficial as hearing problems can be very isolating and Diabetes can play havoc with blood sugar levels and can sometimes be difficult to control. He is non clinical but having experienced problems personally in these areas may be able to give some helpful hints.
